The crop circles found in a wheat field west of Stettler on Aug.25th has been harvested around, so people can come in a check them out. I thought since its fairly close to home I should go see them, why miss a chance to see, and feel, and stand in a crop circle!?
There were two people there from Drumheller who came to do some investigating... The lady was taking notes and drawings and such. She had noted that all the rings/circles were going counter clockwise except for one, which was the one in the center (I think that was the one...). and if you notice on the bottom photo, the edges (which have had less trampling traffic) are perfectly woven together. All the wheat stems are folded and not broken.
She mentioned that she was talking to a man who had seen them before people started walking over them (possibly before the field was even harvested?) He said that all of the stems in the formation were bent not right at the ground, but up about 6-10 inches or so and then bent. So they stood straight up for about 6-10 inches and then bent in their specific direction. Not sure if that is accurate or not... just what one guy said and is not how it looked when I saw them.
